Put the car in race trim last night for first time in 3 years!  Heading out to Rt. 66 in Joliet at noon tomorrow for the NMCA/NMRA Super Bowl.

Look for the Vodyssey Digital Phone T&T Moonshine Muscle Motorsports Cuda in the Open Comp class Friday thru Sunday!

I had to work today but I carried my twin snorkel air cleaner underground and media blasted it. I brought some etching primer down a while back and put it in my tool locker so I went ahead and primed it too. Next step is to get some good wrinkle black and getter done.

No sweat on the hijack.  Wish the news was better but...

Found out the hard way the stiffer shocks I tried on the front made the car quit moving horizontal so much before going verticle.  Lit the red bulb first round Saturday.  Will definately know better for next time!

Also learned I need to re-time the cam straight up instead of retarded.  Cost me .4 seconds worth of ET!

I also learned entering a national event w/o testing after not driving for three years is not a wise move.  Good grief was I ever rusty!  Did qualify 24th out of 47, though.  It was coming back...

Taking mine to my buddies church's carshow Sunday. They have speakers in the parking lot so you can still hear the sermon while your chillin with your ride. They have a burnout contest too that I'll probably enter.

Well, if it doesn't rain this sunday I'm taking the 'Cuda out to a show in Pa. It's about a hour or so drive.
That way I could try out my (don't laugh) 2.76 gear..really...

I just hope I don't get a ticket driving too fast on the highway with that gear, I'd be cruisin for sure.

Just have to find a 26 tooth speedo gear somewhere....

Turning Back Time Weekend in Sycamore,  IL this weekend!  Friday movie on the wall is Back to the Future.  Saturday is the 14 mile cruise with live music and lots of contests and events.  Sunday is the big show with 1000 or so cars packed into the little town right down the main drag and all the side streets and parking lots for 5 blocks.

Don't miss it, will have photos next week...

I have a 2.76 open and a 2.94 sure grip. Nothing wrong with swapping the gears out for highway use. Long legged cars are nice.

I'm gonna finish guttin' most of the interior of my Challenger as the wretched stench of mouse urine and feces is starting to permeate throughout the rest of my garage. It's nasty.
