I bought a 440 block - actually a A9309270 vin block out of a 69.5 6 pack car - will go good with my original 69.5 intake! Picking the block up in a couple weeks after I finish my current job. Already talked to my builder...planning a 4.375" build - shooting for a 650-670 HP street motor with 6-pack. I don't have the caps with the block though, so that will cost a grand machining, line boring the new caps.

replaced the battery tray, USPS delivered my US Cartool fender braces and torque boxes, (FYI will add about 22Lb to the car)

Also picked up a 77 360 and 727 for spares, looks like motor had been rebuilt and not started, has brand new plugs, new paint, just sitting in storage for a few years, complete, manifolds, starter, 500 Holley, non electronic dist. hopefully the block and trans are good as that is all I want, will turn her into a 408 and rebuild the trans as a spare.

Just got back from a nice test run with the Yellow Cuda.

WOW it's a completely new car with electronic ignition, seems like it added 40hp right away and she runs smooth!

Too bad the fun pedal is now excessively fun as I will end up paying for more gas thats for sure!!!
