Never had any luck with copper, always leaked. I now use Percys soft aluminum.

If the Fel-Pro's leaked exhaust, then you definitely have a problem that needs to be fixed... and copper is going the wrong direction.  The FP are conformable and forgiving; the copper are stiff and non-conformable/far less forgiving.  Check the flatness of the manifolds/headers, as well as the heads... and the bolt threading to be deep and cleaned/lubed.  Headers tend to bend and distort.  Also, check for the ports beiong sized properly... were they previously ported?.. perhaps too large?
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!

What am I doing with my barracuda, well what started as a simple rebuild of a 318 turned into a rebuild of everything mechanical. I am doing the finishing touches on a totally different set up. Running a 340 punched 30 over. And also just got my heat heat going to. Hope by the end of the weekend I'll have my bumpers back on and lower pans then I can drive it for the first time in a little over two years.
Got hurt at work and held me up for a bit.
Its just a little 340 with a miss

I just forgot to re tighten them after repeated starts.
Initial starts it was running lean and probably over heated.

I bought Stage 8 header bolts (http://www.stage8.com/mopar.html).  Put on once, snap in the lock and never have to worry about it again.

Dyed my seat belts and painted the buckles.

Took of my seat backs cleaned, sanded and painted them.

Installed a new fuel pump in the Cuda and got her running again! I miss the sound of her!

I bought a set of Mr. Gasket valve cover gaskets.
The D/S valve cover was seeping a little after 3 times being off for valve adjustments.

It's about a 1-2 hour job since I have to remove the brake booster for the valve cover to lift out.
Put it all back on and now the exhaust rockers are rubbing on the inside of the valve cover.

It turns out that the thin type of gaskets they make, aren't good enough for rocker clearance.
I must use cork gaskets is the conclusion. Inside clearances are closer than I apticipated.

The good news is my spark plugs are running alot better than before since I put in the FBO ignition system.
Number 7 is the only one that's darker.

I bought these since they won't shrink like the Fel Pro's did.
They have a raised steel port againt the exhaust port

:iagree:
They will work, but everything needs to be perfect. Less forgiving than other types.
