I repaired the thermostat gasket leak yesterday so I drove it out to a Cars & Coffee meet today, first time I've driven it this year. It's been 70 in Denver the last two days!
It was about 15 miles each way, I must have got the thumbs up or nice car at least two dozen times.

The Cars & Coffee at the Sears Outlet store @ Park Meadows. I’ll be going to the big one in Lafayette several times this summer.

I also replaced the thermostat gasket. I won't be able to test for another 2-3 months. Too much snow.  :(

Installed the 80A alternator upgrade kit today. Waiting for better weather before I test it out.

I removed the huge ugly rear 74 Cuda bumper guards. Now I just need to buy some of the nice slim ones.

Installed my headlight relay kit from Rob.
Worked great once I hooked the ground that I forgot... Hiding the wires I hid the drivers side ground before connecting it... :screwy: oops.

Mounting the relays under the battery tray.

Battery tray re-installed

Drivers side wire routing.

Routing across for passenger side and hot wires to alternator. Not totally hidden but they are tucked up out of the way pretty well.

Red and Gray Hot wires connected to the alternator. You can see the black #8AWG wire from the Alternator I ran to bypass the bulkhead.

Fitted up new Grant steering wheel. Love the woodgrain finish. Unfortunately a bit too close to dash (used b body billet adaptor) have ordered a spacer to bring it out a bit. Also have a pentastar horn button on the way.

Pulled Valve covers. Stress crack on one of them.
Mr. Gasket Hemi valve cover gaskets aren't thick enough and then the rockers hit the Valve cover.

I gotta lot of work now ahead of me.

Replace K member with a correct Hemi K member.
Exhaust manifold gaskets
New oil dip stick tube
Repair crack inside of valve cover
Re paint valve covers
Adjust valves

I'm sure there's more.

Don't take this the wrong way, but, why? It is a 318 car right? What does having a 'correct' hemi k-member matter?
