Met with Kirk "The Paint Doctor" this morning.

I need a few small spots in the engine compartment blended in/touched up before I put the engine/trans assemly back in.

Next Tuesday.
Then the folowing week-end after, I hope to begin wheeling it under to put back in.

Just dropped my motor off at a machine shop to give it some inspection and detection.   I will be cleaning the gunk off of my K member in advance of welding a kit from Firm Feel on it starting maybe tomorrow.

took the Cuda for a run to a car show last night, on the way home the vibration peaked,,,, so long as I was doing 60 it was ok, slow down to 50 and all hell would break loose, back to 40 and ok, still there but ok, run up to 50 again and its like WTF is that, then push through to 60 and although still there, kind of ok. so Im taking the belt off the Alt and PS to isolate those items and  check the balancer etc. Fun, fun, fun..

Wash and wax after a terrible winter. After that it's time to change the header gaskets to copper. It's all good!

Good idea!
Exhaust leaks can make you go crazy.

I went with SCE gaskets.
They have a lipped ridge to help sealing.
They're supposed to be a good brand to go with.

I had the hockey stripes put on yesterday morning before work...I think they turned out great!

almost got her back on her own 4 feet!  except I lost one of the upper cam bolts :banghead:n  anybody have one they can spare   Id be happy to pay for it...I cant find one at our local autoparts stores....

MOOG K7030....or K8243A for just the bolts.
