Man, I'm suffering from hemi envy reading the previous posts. As for me, I finally got some epoxy on the interior and trunk areas and have called my paint supply buddy and ordered some single stage black to blow some colour on those parts so I can mount the doors and fenders/hood and see where I'm at in terms of the sheet metal fitting. I'm sure that'll be fun, but at least it's incremental progress.

Started it!!! Woot!

Now I just have to fix the small problems and get going on the interior to finish her off.

Earlier this week, I got my Cuda out of Jail.

Long story short...
Jetting and the way my car was running before, wasn't cutting it.

Roger at RST Automotive tweaked it and she runs killer now.

So on Saturday, Maria (my better half) & I met up with Dave and his 70 Cuda and we took them both out for a long cruise towards Gilroy.

Maria is a changed woman now.
When I was buying parts and spending all my week-ends working on it; I would get hell later on.  :bricks1:

She is a totally changed woman now that sees the light. (God sending light down icon)
We're still talking about how much fun it was with Dave this week-end.

She understands now why I did what I did and what it does.

Took the  Challenger out for a late season run. Went to check twalker's Cuda restoration. Cool, cool car!  He's done a lot of really great work. Then I took him for a ride just so he wouldn't loose motivation.  :burnout:    I hope he survives the winter. He wants his car on the road so bad it oozes out of him. Good spending time with you Tom.

What am I doing on my car? The only work I can on my car this long winter is in my mind. Since I don't have room in my garage to keep the car here over the winter I need to store it. I need to either move to a warmer climate or to a house with a bigger garage. Until either of those happen I'll just be reading, with envy, about the fun you guys will be having over the winter. :-\

Installed Porsche 996 seat in the Challenger this weekend.
Mechanic seat rise /tilt, and electric back angle adjust
A fairly easy modification to the seat bracket was needed....
How do you like them ?
Hmmm.... should I even consider keeping the gray color,...and change color on rear seats ??

when I bought my Cuda it had two huge dents in the face of the dash pad that have driven me nuts, like a pimple on the end of your nose, everytime I get into the car or show someone the car they are right there, well, i pulled the dash pad only out of the car and 30 sec with a light tap on the back of the dents with a small dead blow hammer, done, very very happy, it also let me look along the body work under the windshield for signs of rust etc, up into the A pillars and so on, all very good and clean, am very happy. And its the original dash pad, so pleased the original owners took some care with this car, no cracks, still soft and pliable
before and after shots.

Damn Greg, when you say "big ass dents" you weren't kidding. post a better picture of the dent; from that pic it looks massive.

I took out the Hemi "yellow" trans mount and put in a Polyurathane Trans mount in from Mancini's.
It seemed to raise the back up a little more making the Shaker bubble sit higher like it's supposed to.

I dont know that I have any other photo's of it, but yes they where two big depressions probably 4" each, like I said they were a horible reminder every time I got in the car, so glad they came out easily
