Hunting season just started so just trying to find some time to put the 727 I rebuilt back in. I'm scared to death that something won't work right, it air tested good but it's been sitting a while. Will do it one more time before bolting it up and running cooler lines!

Well, it wasn't the weekend, but yesterday I welded in the replacement section in the rt 1/4 pnl and got the welds ground down. Slowly but (hopefully) surely it progresses.

Best of luck! I know that transmission tests can be more stressful than engine rebuilds. I have faith it's all good! :2thumbs:

I replaced the console woodgrain decal last night. Took some elbow grease getting that 45 year old  one off.  :grinyes:

I hope you have better luck than I did. Yeah, it was tough getting that old decal off, but the new one started peeling up on the edges in a couple of years.   :banghead:

Shims to get pinion angle up from 6-1/2 degrees to about 3-1/2. Then hopefully reassemble the brakes all around

Got looking at the old girl and realized that my buddy didn't install the shock tower to upper reinforcement bracket properly for the US Car Tool front apron reinforcement kit. Got to cut a nice slot in my new inner apron to get it out and then blacksmithed the bracket into shape and welded it in. It's surely not a drop in fit and I also got the side pieces of the kit, cut and beveled for installation. Dodj, if I can figure out how to load them, I'll try to get some pics up. I did start a restoration thread ages ago and there were some pics of the old sow, there.
