Between helping son Nick section in a piece of his lft 1/4 panel, doing the mud work and then prepping and painting it base/clear, I actually got time to solder in my  own 1/4 panel roof seams and shrunk a "wow" out of the lft 1/4 as well. Think I tweaked a nerve in my back tho and it's vitamin I and wine now. We also flipped the old gal over and that'll allow me to paint the balance of the bottom so that when I squirt the firewall/cowl/inner aprons and frame rails, I can start to put in some brake lines. I'll probably have to ask for help there. as I've installed the USCT subframe connectors and any installation tips from those who've done that will be greatly appreciated.

Installed a new master cylinder, now the pedal doesn't do a double dip when you step on it.   Also,installed a new distributor.  The old one had some wear and the shaft had some movement.  I thought that was my issue with skipping and sputtering at about half throttle.  Still have some issue.  Now I  think the  carb is the culprit.  It was varnished up bad when I cleaned it up and probably needs to be rebuilt.

Pulled the engine a week ago to install new gaskets , strip , paint and detail. Should be reinstalling it later on today.

Traded a 400 SBC  engine block for a 400 Mopar  block. Got it tore down and sending it out to be baked and shot blasted, then painting it to store for a rainy day.

Is the Mopar 400 block desirable? More than a 440?

I like them for stroker combo's  biggest stock bore small mains, what's not to like!

Had the day off so I helped my buddy at his collision shop. Installed a new steering box, pitman arm, ball joints in a 68 Cuda, then helped load the rack for a 73 Charger that took a nasty hit in the front. ( Replacing frame rail and firewall) Looks like a trip back to the 70's in there today!

Finally finished rewiring the whole car with a custom built harness I made.  Runs great 14.01 volts now at idle, I don't like the alternator I have though, it's a 1 wire alternator with the VR on the back, and it sits awfully close to my headers.  I think the heat might cause problems
