It is not "correct", nor is it pretty, but it should be sufficient for the car's second life. Giving Eastwood's "Rust Encapsulator" a shot, applying Lizard Skin Ceramic coating to the floor boards and RaptorLiner bedliner to the wheel wells and parts that expect to see jackstands when I work on it.
I've seen the complete under side of cars sprayed with a low gloss black bed liner (some even tinted body color) and thought it looks very clean myself. FWIW you could spray bed liner over the lizard skin giving the underside continuity. Not trying to tell you how to do it just throwing it out there.  :dunno: Some like it some people don't  :2cents:
Good luck

I plan on top coating the lizard skin in gloss black, it should have a similar finish when compared to the Lizard Skin when done, not identical, but close enough for me. :working:

Leaf spring removal. Needed  the bar off the hydraulic jack for leverage.
Casters 800+lb each arrived. Cut/drilled 4" x 1/4" flat bar. Planning to move the Barracuda out back.

Spent 2 hrs cleaning.vacumning the garage and then another couple sanding/washing/tacking the engine compartment/cowl/frt frame rails and hinge pillars and then I painted them in single stage. I've still got to paint the other side of the undercarriage and then I can start to put in the brake and fuel lines.

The Cuda is getting jealous as I'm spending all of my car time doing a Lean Burn conversion on the Street Kit Car.  I'm installing a Weiand Action+, Street Demon 625, Rev-n-nator, Firecore distributor and coil.  In addition, I'm painting parts as they come off.

Finally got to run the 'Cuda at the track last night. Best pass was a 11.86 @ 112mph, 1.66 60',and .01xx and .03xx reaction times oh and a red - fastest she has ever run but somewhat disappointed as it should be a lot quicker than that. I suppose not bad for 1st trip out. Did zero tuning last night and certain that will help tick off some tenths next time out.

She used to run 12.0 with the Eddy heads - these Indy Big EZ 325's should produce a lot better results.

I went out in the garage all day Saturday, tunes cranked and mocked up the stock cast iron water pump housing to replace the big time restricted 440 source housing and while I was at it I made a new thermostat housing and brackets to mount the circle track power steering pump I've had for a year now....

Based on what I've seen you do, you can make anywhere from 25-35 an hour...Maybe more.
CNC is desperately needed out here but I do have a few shops that are looking for old school machinists.

Went for a cruise to jimynick's to check out the progress of his restoration. You know, just to make sure he was doing it right.  :poopoke:
