Well, after Murray and Doug drank all the beer and left, I got busy inside the car and finished the sanding/washing and painted the passenger compartment. That's an ugly job as any who've done it will attest. Spent today changing the neighbour's frt wheel bearings and then spent over an hour moving "stuff" to get at my heater box. Finally got it out and washed/disassembled it and blasted the doors for the new foams. Man, those Chrysler heater boxes are made shabbily and out of what appears to be grey china, too. Spent nearly an hour just disassembling it and had to make a heat shield out of an old washer to heat the fan hub red hot to get it off the motor shaft. EVERYTHING  is a struggle with this car and nothing comes apart or goes back together without a fight.  :pullinghair:

Well, that's what I told you anyways.  Please take a minute to reflect on the quality of work that guys like Alan do here. I just spent nearly all day refurbishing/repairing my heater box and if it wasn't for Cuda Jas selling me a spare a long time ago, it would've taken even longer. It's actually back in the car and I'm on to the emergency brake and pedals as it leads up to reinstalling the dash. 13-14 hours of this day is enough. Sleep!

:2thumbs:  We never had a muscle car when I was in school, but it was pretty cool when my Dad picked me up in his police car.

Got to the wiring stage and had to make a run down to Alan's place for some sorely needed knowledge. He and Pim Tao are working together and really helped me put a name on lo, those many wires, I knew not! Alan also kindly donated some clips and bolts to my effort as I struggle to get the old crate ready for paint. Thanks again Alan, greatly appreciated!
