Funny I had no issues with my water neck, guess it's hit or miss.

Or maybe I really know how to seal up them suckers!!!

Took out the 8.75 and put in the Dana60, measured up for a new drive shaft, now just have to lower the X pipe on the exhaust as I have it up way to high to clear the 1350 yoke so a little cutting and TIG welding to follow.

Man, I never thought I'd actually see the day, but I dollied my Challenger up to Walkerton on the weekend and actually drove it around town and into the car show they had. I figured I was a shoe-in for the "not nearly finished" prize. Since Nick and I put the new wiper motor in Friday morning and I took it Friday afternoon, I was a wee bit apprehensive about driving it 2 hours each way with zero run time on it. I spent 8 hours Thursday rough prepping it and epoxy priming it to at least make it a semblance of one colour- satin black- mostly   Even though it's not one of the "desirable" years, it was still a funny feeling to have complete strangers, and in one instance a 12 year old girl, say "nice car mister!". We set the timing Friday and you don't even really need to touch the gas pedal to start it. Amazing. It'll all have to come apart again this winter for the real painting, but I hope to get it over to Moparfest if possible. Keep an eye out for an old car with an old fart driving it Jas! LOL

After spending 2 years getting my 1968 Charger in good driving condition, I decided to leave the Challenger at home this year and take the Charger to the annual Wheels and Wings show at a local airport.  Here it is next to my dad's 1974 Impala he bought new off the lot in late 1973:

That color of your Charger is stunning!  '68 is the best year of the Charger too!
