     It's too hot to take mine out (105 today), so a bit of cleaning and detailing in the garage. That is until it gets too hot in there also. :eek4:

    102 degrees of dry real dry heat here. Just too hot outside to do any welding grinding. I may still try but I don't think I'll last long working outside.

    I will be finishing the work I've been doing on the passenger c pillar seam.  It was really raunchy before, only half filled with bondo, the other half the bare seam, it was pretty bad.  Its not going to be perfect, but much much better than it was.   :grinyes:

    Nothing with the Chally this weekend. I had some work done to Shelby's car getting it ready for Carlisle. I'll be out runnnig around. I have to pick up donations for the charity car show, I'm having in July.  :cheers:

    Just got back from working on it.
    Even though it was over a 100, I decided afterall to weld in the drivers side curved portion on the fender that I had been looking for so long.

    Then sand blasted the 11 x 2, 71 Fury drum backing plates I scored at the junk yard.
    Don't know if they're the same off set as what are on e bodies. Anyone know?  :dunno:

    When I finished that, it was about 1:30pm and was really cookin  :eek4: so I called it a wrap and headed home to some nice A/C and iced tea.  :worshippy

    I have 11x2 backing plates on mine from a 74 satellite and they fit perfect. I bet yours will too..

    Sold the Charger last week and the body shop is not ready for the Challenger till fall so I started to get it ready for the summer. I'm going to drive it for now and start taking it apart in Sept. New tires, brakes,and front-end over the next week and I'll be cruisin.


    And I registered for Moparfest today.
