I am just going to pat mine on the hood and say hello as I have been out of town for two weeks. He'll have a new brother (my new 68 Charger) to share time with now, too, so I hope he's not too upset.

Praying for good enough weather to go hang out with the B17 at the DeKalb Corn Fest Auto Fest at the airport.  Have to take photos  :picture: and report for the local news blog.

The same as last weekend. Nothing!!!!!!!! :roflsmiley:  We took the RR to a small local show last night and went for a cruise after. Drove by the Dodge dealer to look at the 09 red Chally on the showroom floor.

I will be working out my brake issues and cleaning and waxing the paint (which looks much better in the pics by the way)..and maybe, just maybe, but not likely, driving it....but that will probably happen the following weekend. :stomp: :stomp:

Corn Fest Car Show Yesterday.  Some pretty cool Mopar stuff there

And another attraction...

It was quite a day!  Rained about 2:30 then cleared up.  Chamoised off the car and roads were dry by the time it was over around 4:00

Took her to work Sat. morning and when I got home couldn`t get it into reverse, when I looked under the car I saw the reverse rod dangling and ground flat on the bend area-must have fallen off on the way home!Luckily I was able to take it off and weld repair it and bolt it right back on with a new clip which must have broken/rusted or just fallen off.Took her to a cruise night that night night with no problems except that darn recurring one of tire smoke when pulling away from stop signs.  :burnout:

I think the pick up won best truck, too.  It was veeerrryyy original right down to the flathead six.

As for the sound of those 4 radial engines, you should have been there during run up.  Mag check on all four was a sound to behold.  Flew over the house several times today.  Couldn't hardly get anything done and now I have a stiff neck!

As for the tire smoke think, I completely understand and I've heard there's no cure!

I was trying to get ready for Mopar Madness this weekend and had to swap out the rear end center section as the one I had just installed had a bad posi unit. :pullinghair: So late friday night I was wrestling the old 3rd chunk back in. I had about a 100 mile run to get to the Virginia Motorsports Park (1/4 mile drag strip) for the car show/races/swap meet. In the middle of my rear end job, I decided the install my new AMD front bumper. Bad idea at 1/4 past midnight.  :nono:That thing kicked my butt trying to get it aligned right.  :swear: :stomp: Two hours later I had it completed. Took a nap and got up at 4:00 am, washed and pimped out the car and drove to Petersburg for the show. Great show and drag races. Got surnburned, but got to smell lots of burning rubber!! :burnout: PS: there are pics from the show in the car show section!!
