Judging from the speeds you have a lot left in the car the slicks and the gear will open up.  I ran 104 with a 12.80 et and you ran a 108!  Not placing any heads up challenges against you!

Not going to change gears but some good tires should allow more throttle at the start. :burnout:

I'm hoping to get in the 12's with it they way it is mechanically.

I'm at a 13.19 best only have 8 runs under my belt too.  Some more seat time should help.  Adjusting shift points, launch rpms, staging.  Right now if I don't stage with the rear tires I'm doing good.LOL

There are two kinds of drag racers.  Those who have staged on the rear wheels and those who will.  Been there, done that!

Not sure what you have under the hood but I found out I could go quicker/faster by shifting below 5K.  My 360 thinks it's a big block...  Also found 3.55 gear with 26" Mickeys to be the best combo for the torque band.

Check out the wrinkle in the sidewalls.  There was NO spin on that launch.  Logbook shows no spin and ran a 13.031 against the 13 flat index in NMCA American Muscle Car.

I have a SB stroker built for tq on the street.  I began the shifting at 5200 and it hit 5450 by the time it shifted.  That was according to the tach recall.  I have to play with the shift points a bit.  The big bright yellow light definately helps let you know when to shift.LOL

I think the tires are 27" that I am getting someday...255/60/15 M/T ET street Drag radials, I know that drag slicks are a better tire just didn't want to deal with all that stuff(matching fronts new wheels etc).

Edited to add that that is a sweet shot of the car!

Let me know when you got a spare set to give away and can swap them in for me. :smokin:

I'm going to get there with the 3.23's one of these days, dual purpose vehicle for me.   I have taken this thing on a nice 400+ mile cruise days the way it sits along with a few 200+ mile trips this summer.  Plan on continuing for some time, until my next car is done, then maybe I will toss some 410s in this one and make it a beast with some Al heads and a cam swap.LOL :drunk:
