I cut out the inner bracing on the flat hood I have. Then wire brushed all the sealant caulking off. I need to call up Ben before I go any further just to double check on where the ring will be before I do anymore cutting.

Don't I know it!!   :bricks1:

What type of fuel problem are you having? Trust me here, there is NOTHING I can't solve in this area. My car was a freakin' disaster when I bought it. The only thing I didn't need to replace was the tank.

  Mike
Mike, Thank you the fuel problem is fixed. The fuel line was bad back at the tank. The idiot that put the new tank in , put the old dry rotted line back on.  :pullinghair: And the gas cap was a vented one.  :screwy: Now, I have to get the motor mount fixed.  :banghead: I can still hear Steve yelling "Quit letting Chebbie idiots work on your car "  :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:  At this rate maybe by next year, I can get the body lined up. Cabinet media blasted some more on the K-frame, miscellaneous front suspension hardware. Here's one of the spindles cleaned today along with it's date code of 324 9.

Pulled out my 904, again.

Check out my pretty $650 paper weight of a torque converter (runs fine, leaks like a sieve..so I'm told that itty bitty crack would cause a leak.)

Yup Mike, that crack will make it leak

I took the wife out for a ride in my barracuda today. Funny how she got pushed back in the seat when I'd run through the gears :smilielol:

Took the wife and 3 kids out today. When you get 3 kids 7 and under in a car, it is a freaking blast. I mean....I wanted to pull my hair out, they were all screaming at each other and hitting each other, it was great. Only thing that helps is all the thumbs up and honking when driving my car.

When Go-Fish John came buy a few weeks ago, his whole family got into the barracuda with me and went for a ride. It was really good that he made it a family ride. I really enjoyed it

Its not the weekend yet but tommorow is the start so here we go,

Took the vinyl top off and decided to take out the front and rear glass too.
Started stripping out the interior and worked from the back forward.

Got side tracked for a day to go look at a V code RT car that turned out to be a U code rust bucket.

I am up to the dash and from the posts in interior tech area it looks like the are only six bolts to go and the dash comes out.

If I stay on track the car should be stripped by Sat. which will leave me 1 day for final cleaning before its off to the body shop.

The car is starting to look naked.

Trying to finish all the little stuff before the car goes to the media blaster next week. It's a big list.....
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

Putting on my MSD wires as well as my K&N filter...

After I finish painting the basement, I'll be sticking my TTI's on, doing the breaks, new motor mounts and maybe shocks....
