I took off the last remaining hardware left on my car this week end. Bagged and tagged.
Then later on, started sorting, cleaning, and trying to organize it.

Almost finished this.  Needs a new axle.  An inch of it was cut off by a bad wheel, believe it or not!

The wheels are backwards!  :horse:

If the rotation is set like that, they will have longer life time when driven on asphalt roads but the tires would be very uneffective when driving on a mud.

Nevertheless that thing looks awesome!

How old is it? My neighbor used to have international brand tractors, great for driving to "downtown" before we were old enough for a driver's license.

Yup, discovered that on final final assy.  Actually the right wheel is not permanently attached in the photos above.  The boys rode that thing so hard they ran throught the idler wheel's bearing right into the wheel.  It was sharp enough to cut a quarter inch off the axle shaft which I didn't realize and/or remember until putting the wheel on it.  Got a new one and finished her up last Wednesday.

We bought it in the box from the local IH dealer for our older son who was 3.5 yrs for Christmas.  His daughter is 3.5 yrs now and loves to jump up on his Cub Cadet and wants to drive all the time.  Now she'll have something just her size!

Here's some shots of the truly finished product!

I started and ran my car for about 20 minutes today .I worry about the clutch sticking to the fly wheel. It has happened to my jeep when left sitting for periods of time . Luckily  the jeep was a winter rat so I drilled a hole in the bottom of the bell and freed it with a screw driver . Any way back to my e body . I have a 70 440 4 barrel Challenger . It was about 15 degrees when I started it and boy does it love that cold air . I would have loved to take it for a ride .But it is not insured yet and they have already been using salt on the roads . Springs just around the corner then look out . :cooldancing:

probably just tweaking a little here and there on my car. Will change the oil in about 2 weeks since it will likely be sitting a lot until I can get a few bucks to transport it back out West. Miss the little guy for awhile!

Met with my paint supplier and finalised the one off color.

Went to the body shop and removed the last of the sealer inside the car.

Started stripping the paint and rust from the underside of the hood.

Helped with the patches on the rear inner wheel well.

Tommorow reclean the garage and start the dismantling the HVAC , if it doesn't snow again.
