Mine now in pieces all over the garage.  Have motor apart for maintenance check and found bad oil leak around #5 intake port gasket!  Kinda thought that was going on because the spark plug was fouling very easily and idle and high vacuum EGT was 300+ degrees lower than the rest.

I'll start a thread over at the restoration topic soon as I have a few extra minutes.

#5 Plug BLACK and WET!  No surprize but wondered where the oil was coming from.

Oil laying in the hole, wow, didn't think it was this bad...  I thought I took a shot of the gasket but evidently didn't.  It was wet clear to the port at the bottom.

#7 Next door high and dry

Project will be worth it just to clean and paint the engine and...

All the spaghetti in here!  Guess that's what racing does to a car when it becomes a "tool" for winning!

I checked all the fittings pulling a hose and capping it to see if it made any difference. So far, nothing though. Also retorqued the carb nuts.

Spent tonight cleaning wheel moldings, going to the body shop tomorrow to fit them and drill holes in the new quarters before paint. Should be in color before the end of the month.

Just can't pass up 56* in February in PA.  Taking the car out to meet up with other Mopar friends for a wing lunch in South Jersey.   :burnout:

Not much more than taking some pics of the paint progress and running my hands along a freshly painted surface. I am starting to get excited now   :woo:

Might be internal leak. I went through two of them on my Charger before the new Demon made it quit
