Weel, I hope to refinish my heater controll panel and install my rallye guages this weekend.

Then it is on the new header gaskets (fixing a leak).  I have a buch of little things to do over the next few weeks.

Here is a pic of the guages.

Nice looking dash there Jaybee. Really clean.

Thanks LAA66, most of it's rt-eng stuff. Woodgrain overlay, clock/tach kits and their solid state limiter in behind. Harley Davidson wrinkle paint on the heater/radio bezels, white out to detail their lettering and my elbow grease polishing the lens.

Put in my new "rt-eng" reconditioned tach. It's hard to see from the picture but from 6500 to 8000 rpm the numbers and marks are a perfect orange. Also put new "Plumbeeper" restored rimblow wheel on.

I agree with the others, very nice dash!   :2thumbs:

Checking to see if the wipers still worked.  And they do.

Took the wife out to the Capital Grille last night, parked right up front since the valet wouldn't trust it anywhere else.lol

Went for a nice 50-60 mile cruise today and got a car wash as part of the deal....

The little one helped me clean it up a bit, kept saying "my car, my car".....

I like the blacked out grille on your chally.

We're taking two of the cudas up to Mopar in May in Branson, Mo next weekend. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive through the mountains. Should be fun if it doesn't rain.

Well came home Friday around 3pm and had the motor and tranny out before dinner! I'm cleaning it up for a repaint. Maybe this week I'll change out the K-frame then install the engine with new headers! Can't wait!

Very nice job Jim.    :2thumbs:   Did you replace the Challenger emblem or just polish the old one? Do you happen to have any pics of a standard 71 tailpanel? I am about to do my grille and tailpanel and would love to see some detailed pics.

Changed the left rear wheel cylinder on my father-in-laws '76 Warlock. Just so happened to let loose when I drove it to get it "smogged".  Ah well, semi-easy fix. Shoes looked new, sure enough I had to replace the hardline to the rear diff junction block as well.

Went to the junkyard and snagged a FX4 Ranger gauge cluster to swap out on my Ranger. Nothin' fancy  :grinyes:

Mopar Alley and the local PT Cruiser club went to the Blackhawk car museum in Danville. It rained but that didn't stop some of us from driving our muscle cars.
