I took my car out Saturday on a 140 mile cruise to a car show/swap meet/drag race.  All mopars.  I enjoyed Watching Changin Gears (GARY) run his car down the track a few times.  He launches on a 4 speed at 6000 rpms. You should hear it Bought a side mount tunnel ram linkage kit (enderle) for 25 bucks to give to hemiken.  Bought Barry some cool original license plates. And found out my car gets 10 mpg or so at 45 mph    Well, speedin up and down a little bit on the trip to. But in 98 degree weather, the engine temps stayed between 188 and 200 when ideling at the stop lights or cruisin.  Oil pressure stayed at 45 idle and 70 cruisin.

where was that at? 140 miles, sounds like fun. Watermellon festival is next weekend and we are taking the challenger for the 100 mile round trip cruise.

That looks fantastic,so does the sun in the pic.I was able to strip out the daytona some between rain showers.

Thanks guys I am so glad I didnt strip the old argent though. The old argent is what makes it look so good because it has much more texture although the can argent is better than I expected it to be. They even send an extra tip in every can so if one gets clogged there is a spare. I always turn the can upside down and clean the tips out, even the cheap spray can stuff. Clown, are you stripping that car for parts or redoing it?

This was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make on my own cars,but its' being stripped out for parts.It's been a New England car all of it's life,rotted out rockers, rear rails and crossmembers,trunk drops and lower quarters(wasn't safe anymore for my little Clowns to ride in)sure was a nice looking car

Today I used my pressure pot blaster on the K member.

It's looking great now after it's first coat of Epoxy primer on it. Mid week I plan to paint it with some Semi gloss black out of my spray gun. All my front end parts are ready now to put together. Rotors show up pretty soon. 

I welded together a stand also to support the K member when I start putting everything on too.

Thanks, Kenny. He is all fixed now.    We took the original  water pump off it. Amazing 38 years that pump lasted. Better then a Honda.  Plus I bought the Mr Gasket no fail thermostat.

Your more than Welcome Jackie sounds as if the gremlins have been sorted out in Eddie it would be so cool to go for a cruise if possible
