Thanks, Kenny. He is all fixed now.    We took the original  water pump off it. Amazing 38 years that pump lasted. Better then a Honda.  Plus I bought the Mr Gasket no fail thermostat. 

I find it funny and neat at the same time that you have named your car with a male name. I guess that is fair given that most men name their cars with ladies names

I will be checking my front brakes, as it has started to pull to the right really hard when I apply the brakes.  I will also be fixing the throttle kickdown lever and dialing in my new carburetor.  I will also be starting on rust removal/bodywork.

Taking my Duster to it's first actual car show

 ...heads came off today(friday)..had a gasket leak... .saturday...new gaskets/lifters/timing chain and gears/valve seals/some mild porting....you know the usual stuff...... .....Matt

Updated to sig - thanks for the reminder.  Tried to post pics of the "new to me" truck but the "upload folder is full..."  It's a '92 Ram 150 shortbed, 318, auto, and Ice Cold A/C!  Best of all - not a speck of rust

First time in 29 +  years the R/T has a working factory radio in it . Sounds good for a A.M radio .
