Engine back in, oil leak fixed, added 1" spacer under carb with swirl inducer grooves and fired it up!  Confirmed, oil leak fixed!  She's also really crisp with that spacer.  Now, if the hood fits...

Updated to sig - thanks for the reminder.  Tried to post pics of the "new to me" truck but the "upload folder is full..."  It's a '92 Ram 150 shortbed, 318, auto, and Ice Cold A/C!  Best of all - not a speck of rust

Photobucket... :stirpot:  Easy and free.

THANK GOD for the fusible link . Put radio in got that working yesterday . This morning I put the after market voltage gauge back in . Well the eyelet from the neg side was touching the poss side  :swear: . Well I didn't realize it till there was a ton of yellow black smoke was coming from under the hood . I turned the key off and checked for damage . I thought for sure it was because of the radio . Turned out to be the gauge . Changed the link and the 2 short wires to the gauge and everything is good . Boy was I scared . :clapping:

I've spent the last two days beating a patch panel into submission... Or was it beating me?!?!?

Not that I'm anywhere close to finished but I declared victory at about 6:30PM.

I find it funny and neat at the same time that you have named your car with a male name. I guess that is fair given that most men name their cars with ladies names   :2thumbs:
Actually, Shelby named him.  :2thumbs: We can't be driving cars with girl names.

Hood fits!  Airbox finished up, bracing fabbed and mounted, now can run with or w/o air filter.  One inch spacer really woke things up!  Have a couple of "runs" in the data logger to download but didnt' have time tonight.  More to come...

Bringing the car home from the painter, cleaning the garage and then having a little BBQ Sunday to celebrate it all!
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
