Brushing snow off car(No garage sorry)And finished taking everything out of the 98 'van.The 5.9and46re with all wires and ecm is now on my work bench(sat am) Good thing I put labels on every plug I unhooked,now it is time to see what is what.

I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DO MY ENGINE INSTALL !!!!!!!!

I woke up this morning at 3 am in extreme pain.  Can't walk on my left leg.  Finally got 10 days off and now this.  Guess I'll be in a chair all day or move around slow.   

Sciatic nerve?

i fabbed some body parts, frame rails and welded most of the day on a pontiac trans am im restoring for my wayward brother in law but....
i did drive the challenger to the shop.
i needed some welding wire, so in i hop her and drive to h/f.
on the way im getting dogged by a corvette!
whatever im thinking. he pulls along side at a light and starts telling me how beautifull my car is!
i was in shock, this is after all a corvette guy.
he is just raving about the sound, the way it looks going down the road....
so iwhipped out my camera to take a pic of him gloating, and my battery was dead!!

Calf strains may be minor or very severe and physician grade the injury according:

    * Grade 1 Calf Strain : The muscle is stretched causing some small micro tears in the muscle fibers. Full recovery takes approximately two weeks.
    * Grade 2 Calf Strain : There is partial tearing of muscle fibers. Full recovery takes approximately 5-8 weeks.

Thanks Doc DODJ       I was crippled for a week in a wheel chair last time.  They said it was a blood clot and moved   I know the sucker hurts now.  I am sleeping when this happens to me and I wake up screaming and crippled. Last time my face and arms and hands went numb along with this. So I feel blessed this time.

Blood clot sounds scary - did your doc put you on blood thinners or are you at least taking an aspirin a day?

I'm pulling my hair out trying to find and fix electrical gremlins in the Challenger. Finally got the dash lights working and six out of the eight turn signals. I'm sure it has to be grounding problems. I'm about to the point of throwing something. That's why I'm in here taking a break. I HATE WORKING ON ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.

Last night went to start the Challenger to run some fuel stabilizer after 6 months of sitting outside and a 6+ year old battery in 20 degree weather so I can pack it up for winter.  It usually needs like 15-20 seconds of cranking to get gas up the the carb.  At 13 seconds the battery died.   

Slapped on a 30 year old battery charger for 5-10 minutes and the car started up no problem.    Just me and the Challenger in the middle of the night... I love these little private moments with my car.

I got my brakes and axles fixed and together last weekend. This weekend I need to put in some fresh oil, flush the coolant and install a new water pump and thermostat.  Then hopefully it will be driveable.

I am making plans to go get mine to put it in its new home and get my tools and everything so I can start restoring it soon     I hope by next weekend or next week to get it home
