Play with pinion angle, snubber setting and open up the front of the engine to see if I goofed on the cam timing last winter.

Or

Plow snow if the weatherman is right...but not with the Cuda!

I'm going to attempt the installation of my new Go Wing.  Let's hope I drill the holes correctly

If you are like me...Measure it a few times before drilling.

When I installed my wing, I just went for it and drilled the holes in the center of the provisions and it worked out great. I actually had to lightly pull the legs together a little to get the allthread through the holes, which I think is perfect as it won't allow the wing to bow in the middle. I didn't use the decklid brackets since I was broke at the time and used hardware store allthread, washers and nuts. I did use fpaps' gaskets however :2thumbs:

Got lots going on today...the wife is up in Georgia on a business trip! :cooldancing: :working: :working: :woo:
Received Hedman ceramic shorty headers yesterday and stear and gear box should arrive Monday, but that engine bay stuff will have to wait. I'm preparing for March 7 florida mopar nats, so no time to waste.
Today I have the rear end lifted as high as I can get it. Removed the rear valance and leaky fuel tank last night, and now have lots of room down there to sit up underneath and go after any rust, so I guess you could say I'm "restoring" the rear underbody.
Last week I bought the spectra premium fuel tank at Chryco's suggestion, and several cans and rattle cans of eastwoods rust converter, the encapsulator, and the chassis black. I'm brushing out any loose rust, but its really only minor surface rust, and a few small spots in the corners of the scaly stuff. Replacing most of the rubber lines and gaskets while I'm down there too, and maybe the rear shocks.
I noticed the old tank has what looks like a box attached under the inside top of the tank. The new tank doesnt. No baffles which I expected either.
I wonder if that box, which comes down about 4 inches from the top, interfered with my sender float?

Going to weld in a new rear shock cross member if everything goes according to plan. Got the cross member from Dave @ Roseville, and just bought a new speedglas helmet. All set!

Finished putting in the new dash. Put the steering column back in, hooked up the stereo, all the little things that go under the dash.  Next I am going to flush all the old brake fluid out and install new and get the brake system back in. Got a lot of brackets and parts to clean and recondition. Thats the problem with putting everything back on a car with new paint.  You have to make every things else just as purty.    :ylsuper:

Welded up the non stock hole the previous owner put in the doors for mirrors, and ordered all my front end rebuild parts.  I need to find dick brake spindles, backing plates and disk brake clipers mounts, before I can start on the front end.

Changed the oil, installed voltmeter, put a thin coat of Home Depot .97 flat black on the roof, adjusted the "Challenger" and "R/T" on the grille, installed the lower windshield trim and finally, as the sun was going down, started installing the back window trim and vinyl top trim.

Oh yeah, I also fired it up and listened to it idle for a half hour :2thumbs:

I went and got some mickey et streets for my car today, sold some mopar stuff and my engine, tore down an old truck rear for the sure grip, Went and did about 10 miles worth of burnouts in my car today, it was 60 something degrees, very nice day.Started gathering up parts for cudaguys dana, checked on picking up my engine vat, dropped off a bunch of 383 engine parts for a road runner im fixing for a friend, ordered his 383 pistons and hung a rimblow and a ralley steering wheel up on my wall today.  Now im thinking about putting the M1 tunnel ram on my car with 2 holley 660 carbs and installing my headers and some frame connectors

I drove mine to work since it was so nice today and had about 5 people ask me if I wanted to sell it.  I said no and referred them to the site to find project cars.

Trying to get it to run.  Replaced the fuel filter and surrounding lines.  Replaced the vacuum caps and did the tighten up on all the connections.  Checked my vacuum advance adn carb linkages.  Cleaned out the carb.  Went to NAPA to get some parts and supplies.  Went down to Supershops and got some new plug wires for tomorrow.
