put about 100 miles on it today, went to a dallas mopar show. Felt good to let it stretch out a little, the car is just an attention junkie though. Lost count of the "nods", "thumbs up", "waves", etc throughout the ride. Whenever I go get the car off the road, I'll surely have to be patient in getting it back together!

I just installed a new rear bumper that I bought two years ago (the original has seen better days), and while I still had some energy left I installed the rear sway bar that I bought from Addco way back in 1992 (I finally got tired of kicking it around my garage and I recently found the box of hardware that went with it). When installing the rear sway bar the instructions called for drilling two holes in each frame rail, and I thought I would have a hell of a time drilling through the metal but it cut like butter! They must have used extremely mild steel on those frame rails back in the day...

Double taped the body line on the right fender. Then skin coat up to it. Pulled it and then skin coated down to it. Sanded it and this time I think I got it right. Hooray!

It's a really hard area to get the contour right because its right at the fender lip.
A busy area, body line wise.

Can't wait for the Fall cool down to begin. Looks like next week it begins here.

I got a lot done on mine today!  :jumping:

Rebuilt both front windows, new nylon bushings and lubed the regulators and tracks....what a big job  :faint: but it feels good to have them done, and they roll up much better and fit perfect.

I also put the 70 Cuda tail panel trim on as well as my new drivers side rear veiw mirror.

Oh and I scraped the $hit out of my arms reaching in to the door frames to get the winows in and out.  :hyper:

Went to look at a possible new home for the Challenger today. House has the normal 2 bays in the front, but around back under the in-law suite there's another garage with enough room to hold 8 cars!

Other than that, I did some cleaning of the garage space around the 71 R/T and finished off the passenger side suspension on the Polara. Hopefully I can get the drivers side done tomorrow.

What happened to the Challenger? Was it still a good condition car? Original to car?
If it was, that owner made a bad decision IMO.

I didn't actually get to do anything with my car this weekend except to go visit it - at the shop where the final stages of restoration are happening. I'm quite excited as it is coming along very nicely and should be ready in time for me to drive it some this season before it has to be put away for the winter.

Here's one picture attached and a link to more if you're interested in checking it out.
