Drove the 72 shaker cuda around today. found an old junk yard. Ended up buying 2 rust free doors for my dodge truck for 70 bucks complete. bought a heavy duty chrome rear bumper for 25 bucks and a reese trailer hitch off the truck for 25 bucks. The paint on the doors was the same color as mine :2thumbs: Also found a 62 dart, 71 dart, and a 68 1 ton dodge truck.  It was a good day

Mr. Gasket 180* T-stat #4367 from JEGS...  Chrome shroud from Amazon (Trans Dapt #9454) it looks good, is cheap & free shipping.  It's not a full shroud, but should still help direct airflow.   Will post a pic this weekend.

Thanks Bill!  You'll get your beast on the road someday.  I'll be there to buy you a congratulations beer!

I have a million little things things to do this weekend.  I need to make and install a gas tank filler tube to body gasket so my trim ring fits snugly.  Then replace the filler tube to tank seal.  Also I need to clean out the trunk and look into fixing a cracked filler tube trunk seal.  Then paint the flip top gas cap base black.  Under the car I need to fix up my kickdown linkage and install the spring up by the carb.  Up front I need to put on the new lug nuts and unilug spacers for my Keystone Klassics.    After all that I need to install the drivers side front turn signal lens, and paint the rear spoiler.  While the pain is in the gun I'll paint the grille black ala R/T after I polish the shiny bits.  If I have time I need to repaint the black on my rims.  Then....  take apart and inspect my remote mirror to see if I can get it to work.  Then I'll do the tighten up on the pass side mirror so it stays in place.  I also need to install my Grans Spaulding Dodge lic plate frame and Scat Pack decals in the qtr windows.  If I have the time I'll check out the leak by the trans, and install a shift kit and change the trans fluid.  Also add a qt of oil while the hood is up.  While I am down by the lic plate I need to install the right hardware for my rear valence.  It's loose on one end and fitting poorly.

I hope I can get some of that stuff done this weekend.  I'll need to get a MC ride in as well.  It's supposed to be nice at the beach and that means the bikinis will be out in force.   :cooldancing:

I am still working on a few of these things from April.

All I get to do is start her and warm it up.  I don't even have time to take her for a drive.  :hyper:

I am too busy working!  except for this short break/CC.Com fix.  :swaying:

I'm gonna put the interior back together after an engineer inspected the new mouting points for the front and rear seatbelts (crazy Australian law). Then set the valve lash as a bit of general maintanence. Then hopefully sometime this week we'll be off to get a roadworthy cert. (another Aussie road law) to get it registed and plated and then on the road for some cruise time. :woo: :bananasmi :cooldancing:

I drove it around to the several community garage sales this morning, then proceeded to drive it like it stole it home!  :2thumbs:

Went to a local county fair. Got in free as I entered the car show! My Dad brought his hot rod too, so we got to spend some time together!
