After taking my '73 rattle box on the FWY to the Fling on Saturday I HAD to figure out why my console was making soo much noise.   :pullinghair:

Was there a stock gasket for this?

3M double sided sticky rubber foam tape is what you need.

We took her out last night and went with a local car club, called Past Pleasures, to Oak Glen for dinner.

She ran great, even at the higher elevations.  :bananasmi

Going to look at some base-model 17" Chrysler 300 wheels with hubcaps for the Cordoba.

$100 including tires.   :money:

Hoping to get a tune-up and oil change done before next weekend.  :working:

I've been experimenting ways of adjusting bump steer . I bought a 66-70 center link, cut off one tie rod mount and am trying tack welding it in different positions, then checking bump steer again.  Trying to use a stock inner tie rod and a Howe adjustable outer tie rod.
This car WILL handle better!

Removed the electronic 12" fans and shroud. And when back to Mopar Performance mechanical fan and fan shroud. As the electric ones draws too much amps and don't cool as much as I had hoped   :stomp:

if you install a 3rd generation alterneater they will work but you need at least 90 amps . if you have ac i would install 140 amps with a deep cycle battery.

attended a car show with about 50 cars and placed second in "peoples choice"

First was a nice red 67 camaro vert.

First time I ever won anything, apart from the "gold" plaque at the florida mopar nats.
First trophy anyway, but like a famous dad of a driver once said, "if you aint first, you're last"

CHECKLIST:

I got the trans pan seal replaced and changed the oil.
I got the Ebrake cable correctly routed only to find some frayed areas

Need to:

Replace all front suspension boots and grease them
Make sure all suspension is torqued correctly
fix the dipstick tube before filling the trans
put on new AC heater valve
get dome light working
get new front tires and stick on my black steel wheels!!

Then:

ONE LAST NIGGLE LEFT. I finally sorted out my driveline vibration (it's only been 35 years or so) and thought I'd be smart and put Royal Purple trans oil in my A833. Then I lost the ability to shift 1-2 at over 3,000 RPM. Jamie Passon said the synth oils don't work with our synchros so I have been trying to flush out the old oil. It's improving and I'm hoping one last flush with good ol' dinosaur oil will solve it once and for all  :pullinghair:
