Taking the beast to get some mods done to it tomorrow morning....getting a motor plate (for the 496), frame connectors/re-enforcements, relocate the batter to the trunk, and any rear suspension mods that are necessary to get my rims and tires under it.  He's gonna have a look at it tomorrow morning and see what I can get under the rear without doing a whole lot, but I think I'll be getting some 15x8's and a good size street/drag radial.  I'd like to get something like American Racing L60's, but we'll see!

Got my dome light working, repaired the switch. Waiting on my rallye wheels to arrive.....   :cooldancing:

Did my usual routine.... went to the stock car track I work at on Saturday. I took the Challenger. We had the national travelling series at the track with the new Challenger body. I had my car in the pits, it was funny to see how many fans and racers came up to the car to check it out!
Sunday night I went to a local cruise night. It was a great weekend! :2thumbs:
Sold my 55 Belair today so now I have some more funds to get some goodies for the car! :woohoo:

Did the final 320 grit sanding today.

Painter in Salinas wants to do the 400 grit wet sand and seal right after. Then seal the whole car an hour later. Bought the dolly roller wheels today.

All I have left is drill holes in trunk for resonators, a few hours of 320 sandings, then double check rear window trim/glass fitment.

I don't have much left now till I take it on the trailer to the paint booth.
I've worn out 2 baseball hats from sweat doing this car in the bright sunlight. The filler is definitely cured.
It gets very hot back here in the corner of the yard.

Well I wasn't satisified with  the little lite stick I installed back on page 119.......so removed that and installed about 20" of LED strip lighting..........Now I know I can see at night.......in fact I may have to cover over a few after I take her on the road during dark to see how bright it really is...........some of these were taken in daylight...........some were not.....
