hey topcat,

i noticed that you have sub-frame connectors.  is there a passage way for the e-brake cable to go thru?  i couldn't tell from your pics. (btw, are they the xv units?)

You have to make and modify your own way of making the cable go thru the frame. I used a Stainless steel tube welded on each side. U.S. Cartool. Same thing.

Every Sunday from now on till they're done:

Watch Football while soaking small parts and hardware in Rust Away.
Wire brush them.
Wash them off.
Dry them.
Brush on Rust Prevention Magic (RPM)

Rear brake Parking cables, OEM gas cap and some other small parts came out killer last week-end.

Well the sun was shinning...it was about 60 degree's out, so I took her out for a rip with my middle son Sam. Ya never know if this is the last run or not for the season? Drove all over town then when pulling in the driveway I lit it up some!  :misbehaving:    Hey! :thinkerg: the sure grip still works!
My son gets outta the car as a big cloud of smoke hits him in the face. I was giggling at his expression. Now it should be just a matter of time till the wife " gets wind of it" and I hear about it! Then again next time she heads out to her Suburban there will be no hidding it? :icon16:

Changed out the upper and lower radiator hose, replaced the thermostat.  It had a 160* in it, no wonder it never heated up right.   :dunno:

Then I took her for a few spins around town.  Like Brads70 said, may be the last ride of the year.   :burnout:

Read up a little more on the 4 speed transformation and realized I was many parts short. I spent 150 bucks at brewers and some money at Rosevillemoparts I still need a few things for the assembly but am glad to be getting closer and doing it right.

Went for a little 3 hr drive to get a grill.  It's in good shape, no breaks or cracks, but needs painted.  I'm so excited to have a grill that's not broken.

I'm planning on driving the Challenger like I stole it and maybe take a trip out to see the progress on the Cuda since I haven't been out there for a little over a week.

I think the price was pretty good.  Complete grill, no breaks or cracks, all tabs in place, ss trim & headlite bezels and a pair of rally hood inserts and a new battery tray for $425.

Grill needs painted, worn in some spots, so I've just started to sand it.

Picked this up over the summer.  I thought it would look pretty cool sitting in the shop.  At the time I hadn't seen one for sale before and couldn't find much info about them.  The guy wanted $40 and I thought it would be worth that just as shop decor.  I hooked it up and it actually works.  I've since seen a few for sale and the asking price was anywhere from $80 - $200.
