Took her out to a show Saturday hosted by the local American Legion oost #90 .  Beautiful weather.  Perfect weekend.

About 70 to 100 cars.  They must have made a mistake.  They awarded me best muscle car, what with my stock 383 2bbl carb and all..

It was a fun time.  A lot of nice cars.  I like these late season shows, where you don't have to bake in the sun all day.

Looks good!  running yet???

I wish, it looks like a couple of more weeks until it is running, as I am back to working on it weekends only.  But, thats ok, as the 90% of it is done.

I'll try and post some pics. My trunk lid isn't the best, so I didn't mind modifying. Strangely only 2 of the holes lined up with what looked like factory cut outs. I had to grind and mangle the other 4. I wanted to get it on and straight before I take it back off and clean up the holes, which won't be soon.  :swaying:

I`m finally going to dig into the cuda to track down and hopefully fix the intemitant starting problem so maybe I can take it out a few times this year before the seasons over.

I'm going to hook up a new temp sender and try to get my old temp gauge working!

Did you ground the wire to the sender with the key in the "on" position to see if the gauge goes all the way to the top to let you know it's working?

Yes I did! It shoots all the way up when I hold the connector onto the engine block with the key in run position. For some reason it doesn't read though with its hooked up to the sender... I'm not sure why? It's a brand new sender

Do you have a ground connection between the sender and the block?  Maybe there is too much teflon tape and you have not electrical path through the sending unit.

I would try holding the wire to the housing of the sending unit.
