Adjusted the Valve lash today.

Front shocks by Ridetech show up early next week.
Ordering the H pipes next week.

What's left till install/fire up:

Driveshaft shortened and re balanced
Accelerator cable play issue
road lamp hole cut into firewall
Prime engine and connect all harnesses

Looks like I may have the best Christmas yet.

The Monster is about to be set free fom it's cage!  Look out!  :)

H pipes from Accurate and Ride Tech Fox shocks came in.

Priming the engine is next.
Just a few small issues to get thru and then time to roll it under to connect K member to body.

I don't know how you stand it, being so close and all. You have more patience than me that's for sure! :hyper:

They were from Larry/NorthwestMustang/ClassicLED's - the non-sequential version of what you had trouble with.

Yeah it sucks. Miss it already.

I already have a 67 Chevy Impala, and I'm restoring a 67 Chevy C10, so the money won't go far :)

Dumped the 3:90 gears and installed 2:7's, also switched to the dredded green axle bearings. The 440 likes the 2:7's much better on the freeway still smokes the tires and hauls ass  :woo:

Beginning a Non A/C heater box restoration for my '71 Barracuda Convertible. I have the original and two salvage units to use for parts. I used my '70 B-cuda Hardtop for a guinea pig this past summer. Now I have parts and experience. Nothing like winter to do those small jobs.

I dropped the bomb today at Legendary Auto Interiors.

Bought everything to do all the seats (front & rear) in Leather plus the seatbacks.
About 3 weeks lead time till everything arrives.

Gotta go sand blast the frames and paint them soon.

Found out today that a friend has room in his shop to store my car for the winter. His shop is heated and mine isn't. Tomorrow I'll run the car over there and by spring I'll have used up the parts I've been buying for the last two years

'Been daily driving it since mid summer.  My other car is out of commission with a bad clutch.   Been a mild winter so far which is good since the heater is not hooked up.  My buddy brought his 'Vette by the shop because he had cool car envy. ;)

I'll be doing some maintenance and repairs this sunday.  Oil change, and I need to chase down a coolant leak...
