It was sunny and dry on Sunday so I decided to take the car for a ride. It was the first time with the 6 pack installed. Normal drivability was great. Then I decided to see what it would do. When I first jumped on it, it felt the same as it did with the edelebrock 750 carb & intake. Then the secondaries opened up! Holy crap. What a difference. I know it was cold out but first gear was usless once the secondaries opened up. Can't wait until it warms up. Right now it 18 and snowing.

My seat buns show up from Lengendary this Friday.
I hope to put the tops and buns together over the week end.

Ahhh!!

The things we do!  Pulled the gauge cluster out, then found I didn't have the right tools handy to proceed, chucked it back in!  Then pulled off the door trim to fix the key lock actuator rod by installing some clips off a Datsun! They fit on the rod but wouldn't push though the hole!!

Ahhh well.....cracked a beer ...and turned on the radio!!

Mozz!!  :aussie:

Installed a New mini starter.
Love Amazon Prime...
Chrysler # 53005984 / 17466
12 Volts 10 Teeth 1.4 KW
Cranks better, starts faster, smaller, lighter and doesn't sound sick like the reman from NAPA :2thumbs:
The terminals/studs are actually copper/copper plated.

Installed the ball joints into the upper control arms. Got the Ball Joint Socket on Amazon too.
Used my Dewalt 18v impact with a 1/2" drive and 1/2" to 3/4" adapter. Worked great.
Pressed in the Moog offset bushings with my econo press from Harbor Freight parking lot tent sale.

Nice work cudaragtop.

well, I think I have finally finished pulling everything out from under the car :faint:, the complete original 73 exhaust and manifolds came out today along with mastercylinder, I pressed all the old bushes out and prepped the UCA's LCA's and a whole lot of other stuff for blasitng and painting. rear spring leaves have all been blasted and epoxy painted waiting for the spring rebuild kits. wont be long and parts will be going back in,,,, :bananasmi

Like we discussed Murray, I think the red looks fine, too. Man, all the talk about driving the cars bums me out, since I spent 6 hrs Friday welding/grinding in the 1/4's and rear body panel, but at least it progresses- a wee bit. Photos are too big apparently

Well no customers today so it's a long weekend for me. I finally got back to fitting/welding in the US Cartool cowl braces. Got one side all finished and painted and on the other side. Ordered new rims too!  :bananasmi
