Mopar tuft steering wheel

Is there a mopar part number or stamp on an original tuft steering wheel?

yeah, I cant remember the actual numbers, but one starts with a 3 the other a 4 I believe, and has a chrysler emblem on it

It has the Chrysler emblem on it and the part# is 4039FX4 or so that is what I see on the back of my original one. Hope that helps! :2thumbs:

I think the 4 numbers are like cordoba/ lil red yr models   magnum and stuff. 3 was like charger

I have never noticed a difference, but I am not a guru either. dusters had them too, may be a dodge/plymouth issue  :clueless:

4039 is the number from the 1970 parts book. It was A & B-body only.

They were used on F bodies, trucks & maybe others in later (post E-Body) years.

I do not know if the number changed though?  :dunno:
