The only way to do it "right" is to black out the grille and the tail panel and make the car an R/T clone because the bumpers top portion is actually painted black so it is two tone. If its an R/T you dont have much to do. I love the look of the elastomeric bumpers but do not want to make a clone out of my 71 Challenger so I have no real choice but to do chrome bumpers, or painted fiberglass. The painted fiberglass is a great way to do it but the look is not as good IMO. Very rare option and only a one year deal on Challengers which I didnt know until Barry posted the info.
