Sorry to resurrect such an old topic. I should also add a leaf as my Chally's rear-end sags quite a bit and hits the ground when exiting the garage with more than 1 passenger. :eek7:

Now my question is, Summit's 13122 seem to be the leafs that some guys here used, but they are 2.3" wide. My leafs are 2.5" wide, is that correct and I should go ahead or did you guys have 2.3" wide leafs to begin with?? :clueless:

No problem.

Now, keep in mind that if you are looking for a like-stock ride (or appearance) this is not your solution.

The butt end is definately raised and the ride is stiffer.  Not what I consider toooo harsh or uncomfortable, but definitely stiffer.......I love how it looks.

Recommend you consider having the originals rearched as the ones I got from Summit were too low and they were made in China which didn't work for me.  I tried adding leafs and just didn't get the lift I was looking for.  Go with a rearch of the originals!

How much lift were you looking for??????    The adda leafs I sued (above) gave me like 4-5" of lift over the stock height as i recall....of course, mine were saggy to begin with.....

re-arching leaves can work but they can also settle back down over time I am told....plus you still have to experiment.

The add a leafs are cheap and havent settled so far...they are pretty thick....

I went to rockauto.com and bought gas charged replacements for all 4 corners for both cars. Less than $20 each for Gabriels or Monroes. You can get KYBs for $23.   My cars ride as smooth as a new car. New shocks are nice! Just drove 800 miles last week-end.

I went with the KYB gas charged shocks......would have to go back and look, but as I recall the shock # is from a pickup......they are a little longer to give some extra travel due to lifting.     A stock length shock would bottom out.

I used Mr. Gasket 1288 Rear Shock Extensions Vs. using longer shocks  :2thumbs:

Is it sloping backwards from top to bottom still?
