Help tach just stopped working
« on: April 29, 2008 - 07:39:49 PM »
My tachometer all of a sudden stopped working. I checked the for fuses and nothing went out. The negative side of the coil is still tight with nothing looking broke. I have the stock ralley tach, so any suggestions? The coil has a black/yellow and a blue wire on the - side, which one is for the tach? thanks

checked the wire at the firewall everything seems to be plugged in. Any other suggestions? Could the tach itself just stopped working on me? I will pull the gauge cluster tomorrow to if i can find the problem.

I think the back up light fuse is the tach fuse too. Did you use a test light on both sides in the fuse box?

After the clock, the tach is next to go to heaven.  :grinyes:  It might have died on you.
