Thanks guys & gals! Ole' Yeller has been owned by me for almost 27 years, and it has been about 24 years since it was restored in the early to mid 1980s. I received a large stack of documents with the car when I bought the car, and one showed the original delivery date to have been November 26, 1969. The car was repossessed by the selling dealer, Farland-Buell Inc of Denver, Colorado and resold on April 12, 1971 with 22,185 miles already on the odometer. The second owner, a US Army soldier, owned the `Cuda until he sold it to me on July 14, 1981. The second owner even took the `Cuda to Germany with him in August of 1974, and back to the USA in April of 1977.
I will give a little more of the `Cuda's history in later postings if anyone is interested. I need to locate some older pictures & paperwork and scan them... For now, two pictures taken a couple of months before I was able to buy the car. I made the deal on the day the pictures were taken, but had to wait a few months to complete the transaction... not by my choice though!
