Finally drove the Fury again yesterday. Now with pictures.
« on: May 01, 2008 - 11:01:32 AM »
This is only the second time I've driven her since I've bought her.  Drove her from my parents place, put $15 worth of gas in, and brought her home to the new apartment.  Aside from feathering the gas when taking off from a stop, she runs like a champ.  Since the Barracuda is having a coolant system issue, time to take her off the road, and start driving the Juggernaut around.

The 383 is gonna kill my wallet with the gas bill, but at least I'll enjoy what I'm driving.  Wouldn't be able to say the same if I was driving some new FWD 4 cylinder.

I have pics in another thread, but they're older ones.  I should get off my lazy butt, and go take new ones.

Alright, here are some new pics for you guys.

It's already been put to parts hauler use.  This is an 8 3/4 suregrip for the Barracuda.  Lucky for me I own a wagon, I don't have any other place to store this.

And, one of my cat, since she's been underfoot all morning. (excuse the messy room) ::)

I love that grille!  It looks like it's sneering or snarling at you.   :22yikes: :roflsmiley:

How'd you like to be a ricer and see that in your rear view mirror and gaining!  :scared: :scared:   :roflsmiley: :2thumbs:

wagons are cool!
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I was thinking the exact same thing!  :roflsmiley: Looks like a wagon from the movie "Cars"!  :grinyes:

Did you try rubbing compound on it yet?  I think it would really brighten up that paint.  That wagon is so sweet.   :2thumbs:

Me too.  I would probably leave it that way. It adds a ton of carictor

Just for fun, put a giant fake looking cigar hanging outta that hole. Now that would add character.

Makes me really miss our old '69 Custom Suburban.  What a wonderful car; it was a 383-2V also; my Dad always wished he'd gotten the 4 barrel after he started towing with it.
