« on: May 01, 2008 - 09:17:10 PM »
I'm hooking up the alternator .There is 3 wires . The one held on with a nut is easy .The 2 that slide on is the problem . One has 2 wires and the other has 1 .Which one goes on the highest post ? Thanks . :jumping:

Be careful something sounds wrong if one connector has 2 wires.  That could be the horn depending on what year you got.  There should be 2 connectors with 1 wire in each.  Unless someone added something in?

Or I am crazy.LOL

Mine has the connector with 2 blue wires going to the post closest to the one held on with the nut. The other is a single green wire to the other post.

I have attached a wiring diagram. It shouldn't matter which goes on which. But make sure you have the correct 2 wires to begin with.  :jumping:
