WOW!  Very cool indeed!  And it'll probably get 25mph even being heavy on the gas!

I love how it distorted the guys face and he says, "I am an alien!"  :roflsmiley:

For the money, it's a steal, but I can't imagine drivng that car anywhere if the temp is lower than 50 degrees F.  Cooooooold!  :scared:

This one is really wild. It's being used as a stoplight racer. Quite amazing.

The more I look at this car in terms of an option to a motorcycle, the better it looks.  (Not that I could afford one anyhows.  Doesn't have the same "panache" as a Ferrari/Porsche but it does have that cool open air feel about it.

How much are the gas powered ones anyhow?  Did he mention a little less than 20 Euros?  :clueless:

I'm a little confused on the price. He says they start "Under 20 thousand pounds". That works out to around $40k US dollars if the converter I used is correct. I have found several used ones in the states, but the prices range from $60k to $90k used.

OMG!!!!! That thing goes 0 -60 in 2.9 seconds. I think that's faster than any production car in North America?? Looks like a lot of fun.  :burnout: I wonder if it is street legal?? I imagine you'd get some looks cruising around the 'ole neighborhood in that ride!!! :wow:

One of the vids a guy was going after the worlds record 0-60.  He just did about 3.1 and missed the record by a few 1,000s.   Its evedently street legal in some places, but I don't know about the US.  It would be fun on a track, I'd be afraid of getting too many tickets on the street. lol

He said the base model starts at 20,000 and the best model is 29,000++  Also when you import one into the states you have to add import taxes, plus if it is a street car, it has to meet emissions which is  :money:

All said and done, it will cost much more than $40k US to buy one.   :2thumbs:

I would imagine the emissions wouldn't be too hard as it's a supercharged Honda Type R engine or something.  Those engines non-supercharged are pretty clean engines, I believe used in current U.S. cars now.  If the superchargers are an issue I wonder if they can import them without the superchargers then owners can install their own, that is if they don't run clean enough.

I would be more worried about meeting crash requirements/safety requirements.  :grinyes:
