« on: May 02, 2008 - 11:14:00 AM »
There will be a local event in town including a car auction later this month. Just found out about this so no other details right now. Curious what it might be worth? Note the disclaimer : FILE PHOTO USED

File photo used. 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda, 340 6 pack. From a private collection. Group up restoration. Phenomenal car. Superlative condition throughout with only 38,000 original miles. Rare burnt orange with snow white interior. All original panels. Broadcast sheet, original bill of sale and original window sticker. This is simply one of the best examples in the world!

I wonder why the interior is advertised as snow white but it currently has a tan interior.  Awesome car though. I bet it goes for a pretty shiney penny.

So what would the pretty shiney penny be worth? I am thinking $90,000 for a 38,000 mile AAR in good shape.

It says a 4 spd car but this post is an automatic, something is screwed up...... 25 bucks and I'll tow it away for them for lack of true info

Good eye Al. There must be something valuable there though.

I'm not sure how to deal with an auction sale like this. Do they have a investigation period a few days prior to.

I am a Challenger owner though so.. . :clueless:

Well, you seem to be close to him being in the central west coast. The auction is may 24 according to the add, but the guy in Kruse international is in Indiana and I see an email and an 800 number. You should call and say WHATSUP

Yes, plenty of time to check things out. I have the dough in savings for a reasonable price. It's the same original color as my Challenger which is really interesting me.

Those were some good times. Living in cabin on the edge of a mountain, 20 years old, broke, and on my own. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

It's Kruse auction, you have a full day if you arrive on Friday to check it out. To register to bid you need letter of guarantee from your bank or bring cash to give them. Not many cars there so it might be a low turn-out of buyers.
