Plodge Racecar PAINTED! (29th Nov)
« on: May 02, 2008 - 11:52:54 AM »
Hi all, i know it isnt a Cuda or a Challenger, but just thought i'd share our other project with you.

Is called a Plodge Scart as it is going to be part Plymouth (Scamp) and part Dodge (Dart) the car is actually a 1974 Plymouth Scamp though.

It is to be strictly a race car (for now)

Is having a stroked 440 to 512 with a dominator.

The car will also be Plumb Crazy

I'll let the pictures do the rest

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

First off get a decent hoover

Just been finalizing the welding on the cage, and have now begun to spray the interior shell and dash satin matte black. Need more paint  :D
The car should then be sprayed by Late October at latest, so are in the process of rubbing down the body.

Then its
Build Engine, Fit it and trans
Fit bits
Wiring
Racing seats, interior etc.

These pictures are a few weeks old now. But here they are.
The engine is being put together, and the car is not in full paint, although the pictures do not show this. Should have pictures of the car in its glory by tuesday!
