Well, I had me a knap and feel better now. I was up 23 hrs doing an emergency on a cement kiln. Man what a long day it was and I wasnt thinking clearly for sure. I really enjoy my m46 car and will probably keep it. Hard to find a 70 as it is with no rust. I will just take my time and build me something else, something that will run with the big boys. I was thinking when I woke up about calling Bob at the super charger store. We go back a few years and he is mopar specific. I'm sure I might could play even better with forced induction and keep the fuel costs down. I think his 800 hp kit is like 3500. Just need a stout bottom end, and drivetrain.
I have had every year e body both cuda and challenger. Every year gtx,rr, and 67 68 69 70 coronet, 71 and 72 sat, demon, duster, lil reds, 300 hurst chrysler, 69 300 vert, 67 300, 63 max wedge fury....Had a few. I still have some e bodies, but the swamps and Hurricane Katrina kinda made them more parts cars than fixers. I sold my 68 dart 499 cube to purchase this m46 car as a project. I still have my 72 cuda race car, just want a bad to the bone street car. Stroker gave the bug back to me last year and I havent got it out of my mind yet.
Guess I wasnt clear minded when I made the post. The m46 car might hit a high 12 if I swap a gear and get it to hook up. It isnt stock, but it isnt over 450 hp or so. It has flat tops .010 in the hole with valve reliefs, mild ported 906 heads with 214 / 181 valves comp 275 xe hl cam, eagle rods and a good working 6 pack, 4 spd , 323 sure grip , 2.5 exhaust choking it down though. It would have to be un corked
