Hey Shadango, hate to hijack the thread but what sterring wheel do you have? Was thinking of the stage 3 box myself but I have the tuff wheel so wasnt sure how it's small diameter would affect the effort at around town speeds.

I have wondered the same thing....I have the two spoke "regular" wheel......

I would think that the smaller wheel would be a little more heavy yet.....

Thanks Shadango, I've heard from most that the stage 2 isnt very firm but most of them are using the larger wood or the two spoke like yourself. hmmm what to do... :clueless:

cool, thanks 500stroker. :2thumbs: Was wondering if the smaller diameter wheel would make too much of a difference or not.  Now with any luck the loonie will hold strong for a while longer LOL.

S&G emailed me back when I asked them about this and said

"I can rebuild your 72 gear then you dont need to change pitman arm.  If arm is bad we rebuild arm for       115.00 "

You can rebuild a pitman arm..?

someone can I guess , I know they can rebuild non existant ball joints but the cost is probably more than the cost of a new part .
