Lost my good buddy yesterday....
« on: May 04, 2008 - 05:11:07 PM »
Well yesterday I got the bad news.... my good buddy has passed away on me yesterday from cancer and I am extremely sad..... he has been teaching me a ton about our beloved race cars... locally I have no one else to turn to about mopar stuff ... This sucks.......and I feel all alone now...

These parts are from a 499 that ran 8.80's last season...

He had everything and extras of all kinds of stuff.... I will be compiling a list overtime to help the family out...

Indy aluminum blocks (unused yet) / mega blocks to extra heads to custom gary williams dominators / electrical... use your imagination... anything and everything..

Please keep an eye out in the parts for sale section... dont know for sure when....

sincerely

Jason

Jason,

I'm really sorry to hear this. I have two very close Mopar guys within ten miles from my place and would be lost without them, too.

Pittsburgh is not so far away.

It's good to see you taking care of the family.

Jim

Wow, sorry to hear about your loss of your buddy, Jason.  :(  Cancer can be a horrible thing.  I had cancer, but luckily it was thyroid cancer, which is pretty treatable albeit often you don't go back to normal.  (But what is normal for me anyhow?  :clueless: )

I hope you and your friends family and others that knew him pull through ok.  I know it must be terribly hard.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  :)

OMG I feel your pain!  I lost my best friend to cancer on April 4th of this year and it was a real eye opener. Wasn't very long ago we were celebrating his 40th birthday.  I can't believe how fast the cancer destroyed him.  It was a very sad day for me.  My heart goes out to all that are involved in the pain of this loss.

I am sorry to hear about that, Jason.  I remember your prior post about the local track showing support to him and how he was looking forward to getting back into the swing of things at the track.  My condolences to both you as well as his family members.

My condolences to you as well as his family.  Losing a friend is bad enough but losing a friend much too young is a very hard thing to deal with.  Keep in mind that you have a large group of people here to support you when we can.
