71 Cuda tail panel from Goodmark

Now that this tail panel has been out for awhile can anyone tell me how good they fit and match up?

I have my original tail panel about 1/2 fixed but am thinking about just starting over with a new one if the fit is good?

Is this actually made buy Goodmark, I read some where else that AMD was making them. I thought Goodmark was making their own parts?

the panels that we currently have are from AMD. same as the lock supports.  thanks David

I got one from Dave the panel seems to fit good. I have only test fit as I have to finish installing my new trunk floor first. Nice piece.

Just got off the phone with Goodmark and they are expecting their tail panels on June 6th

Are you planning on stocking the Goodmark panel also or just the AMD one?

I will be getting them in from Goodmark , Then I'll decide from that point if AMD or Goodmark will get the replenishment orders. right now the AMD panel looks real good.
The funny part is it could be being producted by the same manufacture and just boxed differently. some products they do share the same vendor

I look forward to seeing what you think of them. I come right out and asked the Goodmark guy if they were getting them from the same place as AMD. He said they had their own tooling and they were not the AMD peice. Now was he telling the truth?

AMD is AMD and Goodmark is Goodmark. In some cases they do share some stampers now if it is the same parts ?? they probably wont tell us. example. the current deck lid for the E-body. there WAS only one complacent stamper supplying everyone. sherman and goodmark. Now that AMD is doing there's the quality should be alot better price is doubled but if you want the Quality you need to give up the $$$.
