Somebody here bought a new 1970........
« on: May 06, 2008 - 10:18:14 PM »
Well, OK, it is mine.

1970 Coronet 440 - 4-door with a 318, automatic, original white car with a green interior.

I am thinking of making it into a "cop car" look alike. I will be looking for a vintage light / siren bar for the roof.......

I spotted it on Craigslist Saturday, the owner was taking it to the Bandimere show Sunday, so my buddy Mike closed the deal on it there for me.

Thanks Mike!

Those 70 Coronet front ends, either you love em or you hate em....I love em. Looks like a good canidate for a cop car deal.

Me and the brother in law found a really sweet yellow 70 Super Bee this last weekend. That car right there with pale yellow exterior and a 440 under the hood is the exact car that gave me the Mopar bug back when I was like 4 or 5. Man I wish I could find that car. My dad traded it for half a beef back in the mid 70's  :pullinghair:

...sometimes I think the so called "plain Janes" are far more rare than the performance versions of a particular car....how many times do you see things like this at a show, pretty much NEVER.....looks like a fun project...

ps...just don't take it apart like the T/A  :roflsmiley:

Good for you Barry!  Have fun...  :woohoo:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
