Hey Aarong, nice car!  Glad to have you aboard.

As a  :newbie:  :poopoke: :)  you may not be aware that hi-jacking someone else's thread is kinda rude.  Might I suggest that you introduce yourself in the Newbie thread?

Again, welcome to C-C.com!

Nick, I think you scored pretty good on this car, even with the things that need to be changed.  Excellent buy, buddy!  :2thumbs:

Looks good, is that a gold plated flip gas cap.

Sorry I missed your question......yes it is, it matches all the other Gold plated items on the car.

Nice score! Great home for the HEMI  Is that an argent silver "SE" tailpanel I spot there? :clueless:

Sorry I missed your question too, I am bad..... No it is Gold Paint.....
everything is Gold or Chrome.... everytime I look at this car I need my  :bigshades: on.....

Looks to be in really good shape. An original 440 R/T with air is a rare bird. Put that hemi in it and have some fun! I would say even in a buyers market it is worth a good amount more than 15k. 440 R/T's dont grow on trees.

another one missed..... I am hoping I can run A/C with the Hemi......

Hey Nick,

Find out if their are any other Challenger bits that he can add in to the deal, may be more stuff lying around his place.  You could resell the parts if needed. :2thumbs:

that is the first question I am going to ask.... I will not hold my breath because it has been 20 yrs or so.....

Well we are getting closer to finalizing the deal, I know it seems like a long time and it is to me....

Update....

the GTO is sold and the buyer is looking for a transport service for the 2500 mi voyage to get it and take it 2500 mi home to him.
That will free up the garage spot and the Challenger will come home to me.
I asked if he had any of the original interior pieces he swapped out and unfortunatly he does not, that was over 20 yrs ago.
The spoiler did not come from the swap, it was added from year one......

more later.....

Not right away, there is too much gold and chrome to remove first and get it back to original surfaces, then get it ready for the Hemi transplant.
