Don't know where to put this post but ................... a friend is close to buying a 63 4 speed 289 Studebaker Avanti. the car is located near Ripley, West Virginia. Is there someone there that can go look at this car for a fee? the friend says that in particular the steel attachment brackets that connect the chassis to the fiberglass shell are what need to be looked at. In June, I am taking a Subaru over for my daughter in Toronto (my 1 owner 8 year old worth nothing but in ex shape car) and am supposed to bring the Avanti back to Calgary. He needs the help if anyone can advise .. much appreciated.
