With gas prices where they are, I'm seriously thinking of pulling the stroker out of the hardtop next year and putting the 340 back in.   :walkaway:

Not knowing the flow numbers, I'll say there's no way a .692 roller makes 1000hp...even with 1.7 or 1.8 rockers. Unless it's got a blower or turbo. Nevermind running "max ported" -1s. Absolute max for almost anything is about 2.3hp/cfm of intake flow, on a race (high efficiency, narrow power band) engine. "Normal" is closer to 2hp/cfm. I've never seen -1s in any shape, from any shop, go near 435cfm on intake, never mind 500cfm. Indy themselves peak them at 850hp. Put it on the pump and post the results.
But a way cool endeavor anyway.

im sure it wont see 1000 hp moper..... but with the compression im thinking 900 maybe do-able....  :aarg:

Im sure I will post a vid.......... also indy has always underated there stuff.....  :2cents:

Indy claims: put on the indy 440-1's and pick up 100 hp over the 906's... yea right........  ootb for both there is more than 100hp there...
