Not knowing the flow numbers, I'll say there's no way a .692 roller makes 1000hp...even with 1.7 or 1.8 rockers. Unless it's got a blower or turbo. Nevermind running "max ported" -1s. Absolute max for almost anything is about 2.3hp/cfm of intake flow, on a race (high efficiency, narrow power band) engine. "Normal" is closer to 2hp/cfm. I've never seen -1s in any shape, from any shop, go near 435cfm on intake, never mind 500cfm. Indy themselves peak them at 850hp. Put it on the pump and post the results.
But a way cool endeavor anyway.
