Hey Everyone!
« on: May 16, 2008 - 02:28:27 PM »
Hey guys and gals.

I haven't been on very much - much less than I had planned.  The problem stems from the fact that I sit at a desk in front of a computer ALL DAY.  By the time I get home, the LAST thing I want to do is sit in front of my computer at home!  I usually end up kicking on the Xbox and blowing away the evening.

The job is going pretty well - 7 weeks in, haven't quit yet.  :)  Paid off 2 credit cards already, with a third being paid off next Friday.  The balance is nearly $2,500 and I'm going to knock it out in one shot!  I'm learning the ropes very quickly and have already been complimented by two of our managers by the quality of my reports and my speed at learning the software.  The one guy even reported my successes to one of our high-level supervisors - the one who would probably be responsible for offering me my next assignment when this one wraps up next Spring.  The chances of me staying with American Electric Power grows everyday.

Of course, I haven't gotten to drive my 'Cuda any.  For one, when I get home to Harrisburg I really have very little time to just goof off by myself.  Secondly, the passenger front brake caliper is still locked up solid.  I have new calipers, pads and rotors sitting at home - just ordered the brake hoses today.  I'll be installing it all next weekend when I'm home for Memorial weekend.

By the way my birthday is May 29th.  I accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard.  You can also give gifts in the form of 440 Big Block upgrades...  I'm going to try ordering my Holley SD intake.  Believe it or not, it's listed on Amazon.com for like 190 bucks with free shipping.

Well I hope everyone is doing well.  I'm already planning my vacation for Carlisle.  I'll be coming home Wednesday night, getting the car all detailed up Thursday, then planning to meet at the restaurant by the hotel Thursday night.  MEK if you're going to be in by that night, I'll bring your leash and collar.  :)

Have a good weekend everyone.  Hope your weather doesn't such as bad as it does up here in the NE and you can go Mopar drivin'!

MEK - that was crap you were givin' me?  Heck all this time I just thought you had gas...   :smilielol:

Al - yeah I'll see what I can do there!  Well at least on the bright side I shouldn't be such a beggar anymore.  Unfortunately my race for Resident status has fallen by the wayside, but it's alright.  I still stop by the board frequently - just often don't have time to post.  I read up, scan for new info, and then usually get distracted.

Anyways, y'all have a fantastic week.  And don't forget that Holday on Monday, Al.  *wink*

Glad to hear the job is going well for you. Don't worry I'll have the pasta salad for Carlisle. Do I need it for Friday or Saturday ?

I'll probably do my burgers Saturday when there's more people around.  So I'd say then.

MEK, I can indeed cook, but come on - you know anything you eat comes out of an Alpo can...
